TOPEKA — Some low-income Kansans can qualify for discounts on basic land-line residential phone service. CenturyLink’s Pamela Anderson said her company is asking Kansas residents living in a CenturyLink service area to call 800-366-8201 and ask about the Lifeline and Link-Up telephone discounts or visit the Web site www.centurylink.com/lifeline to find out if they qualify. These discounts will help pay the initial installation costs and provide certain discounts on basic monthly telephone service.
