OTTAWA — An expansion and renovation project at Ransom Memorial Hospital is moving at full speed and should be completed this year. One thing that won’t be done this year – the canopy over the hospital’s main entrance, said hospital CEO Larry Felix. The hospital’s architect has been drafting preliminary plans for doing something with the canopy but it’s not likely that anything will come to fruition in the next year years, he said. However, it will eventually be done, he said. The canopy leaks water and it’s too short – it’s been hit and damaged by overly-tall trucks and vehicles, he said.
