PAOLA — The principal of Campus High School in Haysville will be the new Paola High School next year. Phil Bressler will succeed outgoing principal Jerry Henn. The change is one of several changes influenced in part by budget cuts in Paola USD 368. Supt. Rod Allen is stepping down. Assistant superintendent Judy Welter will become the district’s new superintendent. Paola Middle School principal Matt Meek will become the new assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction. Paola Middle School assistant principal Mark Bloustine will move up to principal. Hillsdale Elementary principal Amy Hastert will become the middle school’s vice principal. The school board recently voted to close Hillsdale Elementary.
