GARDEN CITY – Gov. Sam Brownback will open the 3i show this morning, which this year is held in Garden City. The annual farm show highlights ag industry, implements and irrigation and rotates between Garden City and Great Bend. Brownback will also tour drought-stricken areas in counties in southwestern Kansas. Last month, Brownback issued a drought warning declaration for 20 counties in western Kansas and put 27 surrounding counties under a drought watch.
