OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has been investigating thefts that occurred Friday. An 18-year-old Ottawa woman reported money was stolen from her car at Sand Creek and Kentucky roads during a party northwest of Ottawa. The loss was estimated at $540. A 44-year-old Pomona man reported someone stole a car battery he was using for an electric fence in the 300 block of Haskell Road near Williamsburg. The loss was estimated at $80.
