OTTAWA- St. Johns Cemetery has received a face lift just in time for Memorial Day. The Cemetery’s 130-year-old altar has been restored by Greeley native Leon Lickteig and his sons. Restoration began over a year ago and included work on the alter, cross, and statues. Lickteig has a career in artistic concrete that spans over 40 years, and has done work throughout the United States and overseas. Funding for the project was provided by a local private family estate.
