WICHITA — At the state high school track meet in Wichita Saturday, Ottawa’s Dallas Natt won the 4-A state title for triple jump. VHe jumped 45-6. Central Heights’ Marisa Cox won the 3-A girls shot put. She heaved it 42-4 1/4. Among other winners: Paola’s Garrett Appier, boys shot put; and Skylar Hawkins, long jump. Baldwin, girls 1600-meter relay and 3200-meter relay, boys 1600-meter relay. Gardner-Edgerton girls won second in 5-A. The Trailblazers’ Jalisa Brice won the triple jump, Hannah Schneider, shot put; and Danie Blank, javelin. For the trailblazer boys, Casey Bowen won the pole vault. For Louisburg, Jacob Albright also won in pole vault; Garrett Griffin, boys javelin; Colleen O’Brien, girls’ high jump.
