OTTAWA — There won’t be many changes coming out of Friday’s meeting concerning tornado sirens. Franklin County emergency management director Alan Radcliffe said officials thought the procedures were OK, just that they need to be followed. That’s a reference to last week’s tornado warnings, when Radcliffe said his office mistakenly chose not to sound sirens in Ottawa. The sirens will be sounded whenever there’s a tornado warning, he said. However, he said that other cities and agencies were reminded that they can also sound the sirens.
