Two multiple-injury accidents have closed one southbound lane of I-35 south of Ottawa near Eisenhower road overpass. At least 2 helicopters were dispatched to the scene to pick up injured people. According to initial reports at least 4 people were injured. Both accidents occurred in nearly the same place and nearly the same time. One vehicle was in the ditch along the highway. Another was laying on its side pointed north next to the southbound Eisenhower road exit ramp.
