GARNETT- It’s camping season and enthusiasts have another spot to park their RV. Garnett city crews responded to public requests by installing six new RV sites that offer electricity and water. Located at the Lake Garnett’s most popular camping spot, City Manager Joyce Martin feels the sites could bring in revenue. Though the project costs the city about $5000, Martin said she thinks that providing additional camping opportunities for the public makes it worth the money spent.
