CENTROPOLIS — Fire damaged one room of a modular house in the 1900 block of Woodson Road north of Centropolis Monday afternoon. Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison fire chief David Gibbs, whose department helped Centropolis and Pomona rural firefighters battle the blaze, said firefighters stopped the fire before it spread to other parts of the house. There was no immediate estimate of the damage or the cause of the fire.
