WELLSVILLE — A 16-year-old Greeley girl was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital Tueday as a result of a crash on I-35 near Wellsville. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Emilee Poage was thrown out of her car when it rolled over several times. She wasn’t wearing a seat belt, troopers said. She was entering northbound I-35 from the K-33 interchange when she improperly changed lanes and hit a truck driven by Kevin Fears, 32, Ottawa, troopers said. Fears’s truck went across the median strip and into the southbound lanes and stopped on the shoulder. Poage lost control of her car, which rolled. Fears was taken to Anderson County Hospital in Garnett by personal vehicle for examination.
