OTTAWA — A 44-year-old Pomona man will back in Franklin County District Court in connection with a case that involved a rural burglary and two-county chase last month. Daniel Anspaugh has been charged with burglary, theft and criminal damage. He appeared in court Monday. A neighbor spotted two men at a rural residence west of Richmond and called the sheriff’s department and gave chase to the intruders. Franklin County deputies joined the chase near Williamsburg and followed the men into Osage County, where two men abandoned a truck and tried to flee on foot. Anspaugh was arrested near the scene.
