OTTAWA — It’s a date. The Franklin County Commission will take part in an experiment proposed by Ottawa city manager Richard Nienstedt — a come-and-go budget roundtable for taxpayers tonight from 6 to 8 at the county annex. Taxpayers will be free to quiz individual city and county department heads about their budgets and offer suggestions. The city and county will hold formal public hearings on their budgets next month.
