LAWRENCE — Part of a party in Lawrence to celebrate the Tour de France bicycle race will raise money for a young bicyclist injured recently during a Lawrence bicycle event. The party will raise money for the medical fund of Mikal Bond, 13, Maple Hill, who was hit by a pickup south of Lawrence during the Lizard Under the Skillet bicycle ride earlier this month. She has been in critical condition at the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. The annual Tour de France party will be Friday night from 7 to 9:30 at Kief’s Audio-Video in Lawrence.
