OTTAWA — A 22-year-old Ottawa man was hospitalized in Topeka after he was injured in a crash at 15th and Main late Monday night. Ottawa police said Elgin Calley struck a vehicle driven by Houston Keen, 61, Lawrence. The intersection was blocked for about three hours, police said. Ottawa police described Calley’s injuries as non-life-threatening. He was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital and then taken by helicopter to a Topeka hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately available. Police said they were investigating whether Calley was driving under the influence of alcohol.
