SALINA — The Kansas National Guard will send a fourth Agribusiness Development Team to Afghanistan. The Guard group of about 60 people will leave Salina this week. The teams have helped Afghan farmers adopt new efficient and effective techniques, Adjutant General Lee Tafanelli said. They will also assist in the development of sustainable agriculture and other related enterprises that will increase the economic well-being of the Afghans, he said.
