OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie’s Christmas in October has been set for Oct. 1 at the high school. As they have for the last 17 years, volunteers will paint, clean and repair houses of the elderly or poor throughout the city. Last year, 75 volunteers took part. Chair Diana Neal told the Osawatomie Journal that her group has received a grant from the group Rebuilding America.
