RANTOUL — A 52-year-old Rantoul man reported Sunday to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office that his mailbox and other mailboxes in the 4600 block of John Brown Road in Rantoul were damaged by vandals. The sheriff’s office said deputies weren’t able to make contact with others who may have had their mailboxes vandalized. Damage to the man’s mailbox was estimated at about $200.
