KANSAS CITY – On Wednesday, Kansas City police and FBI agents searched the house where baby Lisa Irwin disappeared Oct. 4. Forensic teams were in and out of the house all day, often dressed in white jump suits, ABC News reported. They raked the lawn, they were taking x-rays inside the house… some said of walls inside the house. They were using this equipment from bombs and arson trucks and they left with several bags of potential evidence even including a large swath of carpet. The Kansas City Star said police had little to say about results from Wednesday’s search. ABC notes that virtually every major bit of information about the case — and who police might suspect in the baby’s disappearance — has come from her parents or people speaking on their behalf on TV. Previously, police searched the Irwin home with their permission. This time, a court issued search warrant which prevented the parents from being present at the house during the search. To get the search warrant, police had to go to a judge and present then new information, new cause, new reason to go inside that house to search.
