OTTAWA — Thanksgiving is over and out, and now, the Christmas lights are up and twinkling. Ottawa’s annual lighting ceremony entertained Ottawans Friday night at Haley Park. Mayor Gene Ramsey flipped the switch, Phil Messinger read “T’was the Night Before Christmas” for all the kids, and Jessie Arnold kicked the season off with some Christmas carols.
