OTTAWA — Kansas revenue secretary Nick Jordan will visit Ottawa Thursday to discuss economic development and tax policy. He will visit the Great Life Sports and Fitness Club on East Logan Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30. Gov. Sam Brownback has been pushing a plan to eliminate or reduce the state income tax as a way to boost economic development but the huge amount of revenue that would be lost by ending the income tax has several legislators nervous.
