WILLIAMSBURG — Franklin County deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Williamsburg Fuel Mart shortly after midnight Sunday morning. Deputies found that a window on the southeast door to a storage area was broken. The interior storage door had also been broken. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said there was no one inside the building. There was no immediate report of any losses but the break-in caused is less than $1,000 in damage. It was the second burglar alarm over the weekend. A window and door were broken at a home in the 2400 block of Osborne Terrace northwest of Ottawa Saturday morning. However, the owner said it appears nothing was taken. The sheriff’s office also investigated a break-in occurring before sSaturday afternoon in the 4200 block of Indiana Road near Centropolis. The 67-year-old owner said the burglar took some coins and a jewelry box. The break-in damage and the theft were valued at about $500.
