It doesn’t seem like six months have gone by since the Ottawa’s Farmer’s Market opened, but tomorrow marks the final market of the year for the Ottawa group. Throughout the year, the market has seen over 15 to 20 vendors with goods ranging from elk meat to mums to baked goods to fresh produce and much more.
The market hasn’t been the same the past several weeks as one of the long-time vendors were absent. James and Vickie Stinebaugh passed away in late July. Fresh produce and home made canned goods ranging from jellies and jams to salsas were a highlight of the market. Last week, family members were on hand with the canned goods.
Tomorrow is your last chance to get in on the incredible products available at the Farmer’s Market for this year. but, don’t worry, they will be back next Spring. Plans are to open the first Saturday in May.
