Last year, Ottawa High School teacher Lori Howard applied for a Grant through American Eagle to complete what’s call the “STEM BUS” The Grant was awarded for $15,000. It will fit the bus, once complete, with a variety of technology. Ottawa High Principal, Kelly Whitaker, says its almost done:
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. The bus will be loaded with many different work stations and learning opportunities for kids of all ages and will be taken to elementary schools to engage those students in experiences that will hopefully get them excited about Science and Technology—
