A number of agricultural issues were discussed during the Annual Franklin County Farm Bureau Legislative Tour and Dinner. One guest speaker was Kansas Farm Bureau Senior Director, Ryan Flickner. He told the crowd of almost 50 people that the Farm bureau is fighting against Government mandates.
Other issues discussed include the Federal Government’s attempts to ban certain chemicals…especially chemicals that have been studied for a long time and are proven to be safe. The event was held at Pome on the Range near Williamsburg.
