The City of Ottawa approved the purchase of the Ottawa Country Club at the meeting last night and it seems they got it at a bargain price. City Attorney Blaine Finch, went over some details for commissioners:
The total sale price was not disclosed; however, the purchase price included paying off some debt, equity to the Board Members and a few other items. All the commissioners agreed that having a Municipal Golf Course, as an amenity, was important in attracting people and industry to Ottawa.
