It seems like the number of mandates coming out of the Federal Government are endless, and it’s also the case with agriculture. The Franklin County Farm Bureau held its Annual Legislative Tour and Dinner recently and one guest speaker was Kansas Farm Bureau President, Rich Felts. He says Farm Bureau is opposed to one proposed law called the Cattle Market Discovery and Transparency Act:
Felts says other concerns are repeated attempts to ban safe chemicals, such as Atrazine.
