The City of Ottawa is going to try to cover part of the purchase of the Ottawa Golf Course with a grant from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, says if the city is approved, the grant would pay for about half of the price of the golf course:
In other business, the Commission has tentatively chosen the Prairie Fire Project to participate in the moderate income housing program. The project would build seven duplex buildings, consisting of two and three bedroom apartments.
