Like most communities, the City of Wellsville has voted to exceed the Revenue Neutral Rate for next year’s budget. Wellsville Mayor Bill Lytle took a moment to briefly explain what is increasing the Mill Levy:
Most communities find themselves having to increase budgets and one factor that is pinching city officials is the highest inflation in around 40 years, with just about everything sharply increasing.
