The Ottawa City Commission Meeting was a short one, but some important business was done in the space of about 11 minutes. Several employees were recognized for their length of service to the city ranging from 10 to 25 years. After the brief ceremony, City Manager Richard Nienstedt made a few remarks.
The Employee Recognition was the only major item of business on the Commission’s Agenda.
