The Ottawa School Board has adopted a unique method of banking designed to take advantage of higher interest rates. School Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs says it’s called a “Sweep Bank Account.”
Cobbs says this kind of banking has actually been around for years, but the Ottawa School District simply hasn’t used it before.
