Economic development in the City of Garnett is going strong. Garnett’s newest restaurant, Troyer’s 1883, held its Grand Opening recently, and Victory Auto recently purchased Beckman Motors and looks to expand there. Anderson County Economic Development Director, Julie Turnipseed, tells us about more business coming to the area:
The Garnett City Commission is also looking at many ways to increase economic development in the city, exploring every opportunity to bring in new business and people moving to the area. Turnipseed says the city is doing a nice job of promoting the city to prospective businesses.
