A structure fire Sunday evening in Pomona severely damaged a garage. Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire about 6:10 Sunday evening at 1745 California Road, in Pomona. When they arrived on scene, the found a detached garage, owned by 50-year-old David Stover engulfed in flames. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, however, it left extensive damage to the structure and the items inside the building.
Fire officials say the fire appears to have been started by a wood burning stove inside the garage. No damage estimate was reported
