The City of Ottawa is widely known for the trails running through town. Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce President, John Coen, says recently some state officials gave some recognition:
Hoxie is almost 300 miles from Ottawa. Coen says Ottawa is very fortunate to be on the intersection of two major trails in Kansas and will benefit economically for years to come, as the trail system grows and word continues to get out across the Nation, of the trails in the area.
