Whether to expand the Veterans Memorial by allowing families to buy additional bricks is causing a bit of a commotion on the Franklin County Commission. During the Regular Commission Meeting, Commissioner Colton Waymire and Commission Chair, Roy Dunn, discussed the issue:
County Administrator Derek Brown emphasized that the matter-at-hand is whether to allow familie to buy additional bricks, not the condition of the current ones. He says there is no more walkway with the current pattern to buy brick for, so the dilemma is what to do with the pattern and how to make more room for Family Bricks.
