Osage County Sheriff’s Deputies are working again this year to keep the Grinch from stealing Christmas. The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Kansas National Guard and area first responders to collect toys for the holiday in the 3rd Annual Operation Christmas for Kids Toy Drive. Osage County Undersheriff Scott Brenner says they made a big delivery Monday afternoon:
First responders from the Sheriff’s Office, EMS, Kansas Highway Patrol and fire units filled two ambulances and a couple of fire trucks stuffed full of gifts, given by individuals and local businesses. The toys were given to organizations, E-Cat in Osage City and Help House in Lyndon. Parents will have the opportunity to pick out the perfect gift for their kids, starting later this week.
