The Storm Sewer Improvement Project on Cedar Street is entering its final stage. The final work to be done involves ADA ramps at intersections and constructing new sidewalks. Weather permitting, Killough Construction will begin work on the ADA ramps Monday, January 9th. Motorist are urged to use caution as there could be partial lane closures fro 7:30 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.
Once the ramps are completed, they will begin work on the sidewalks. That project is scheduled to start Friday of next week and will require Cedar street to be closed to through traffic from 13th to 15th streets during work hours until completed. The project is scheduled to take two weeks to complete. If you use cedar in your daily driving, during the sidewalk work, you will have to find an alternative route during working hours.
