The search continues for a new superintendent for West Franklin USD 287. Current Superintendent Jerry Turner has announced his retirement at the end of this year. The district has narrowed the candidates down to five. Each one of those candidates will have a meet and greet with district patrons before their interviews.
One of those happened last week, with the interview of Rex Boley, the current Superintendent at Rock Springs USD 107. The rest will be this week, starting today, January 17th. A meet and greet will be held this afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 at the West Franklin High School Commons, then another tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday at the same time, in the same place.
The meet and greet will give a chance for district patrons to meet the candidates and a chance to visit with them.
