A piece of equipment at the landfill has gone on the blink……..Franklin County Public Works Director, David Lee explained the situation to the County Commission:
Lee says the issue is with one of the drive pumps…staff first noticed trouble when oil began leaking from the flywheel housing. Lee called the Track Loader a critical piece of equipment at the landfill, one the staff could not do without for a long period of time. He expects repairs could take up to three weeks, but is hoping it will be back in service before then.
