It looks like the “door” may have at least opened a bit in the ongoing rift between AdventHealth Ottawa and Ottawa Family Physicians. A few months ago, OFP doctors and AdventHealth had a dispute over certain contract provisions, and OFP doctors suspended some services to patients at the hospital. During the Ransom Memorial Hospital board of Trustees meeting, Board member, John Coen had a revelation of sorts:
Several complaints were aired again during the comment segment, with several suggesting that the Ransom Board should start looking for another hospital tenant other than AdventHealth.
