As tax season approaches, farmers and ranchers need to be aware of possible schemes involving tax law that could separate them from their money and create legal trouble for them also. Washburn University AG Law Professor Roger McEowen says anyone can fall victim to traps and scams involving taxes.
He advises farmers, ranchers and producers to use a professional tax consultant, specializing in agricultural tax law, to avoid traps.
