School has definitely changed over the past 10 years or so and could change again when it comes to gun safety. A bill in the Kansas Legislature could introduce firearms safety training into Kansas school districts grades K-12. Representative Rebecca Schmoe is a big proponent of the bill that will feature the “Eddie the Eagle Program” for firearm safety and training for grades K-5.
