Kansas Congresswoman Sharice Davids is in Garnett today, February 14th, as part of her Farm Bill Listening Tour. In Garnett, she will be visiting Bauman’s Mobile Meats, and visiting with other local leaders in the AG industry. Over the next couple of months, she will be visiting farms and other agricultural businesses in the Kansas 3rd District to hear directly from Kansans on their priorities. The goal is to gain a firsthand understanding of the everyday issues facing agricultural interests in Kansas 3rd District and how the Farm Bill will impact their lives and livelihoods.
Davids is on the AG Committee for the first time this year and is wanting to talk to as many people in the 3rd District as possible to get a better understanding of what people in Kansas are wanting when it comes to a Farm Bill. She will be in Ottawa tomorrow,February 15, and in Miami County on Thursday.
