Stream Advisory Rescinded for Marais des Cygnes River located near Osawatomie, Kansas
Residents and animals may enter the water at this time
TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a stream advisory for the Marais des Cygnes River located near Osawatomie, Kansas, that was issued on February 13, 2022. Water samples show no health risk associated with this stream. Water contact in the stream is now deemed safe and if you live or have activities near this stream, you may enter the stream and you can allow children and pets to enter the stream.
