It looks like the way has been cleared for all school districts in Franklin County to receive Narcan, a drug administered to overdose patients to save their lives. County Administrator, Derek Brown, says he expects school officials will gladly take the lifesaving drug:
Health Department Officials say Franklin County has a much above average rate of overdoses, and getting the Narcan distributed, as widely as possible, is critical in potentially saving lives.
