An Osawatomie man has been found guilty of two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, all of which are off-grid person felonies with possible life prison sentences. The trial took three days, but it only took jurors three hours to find 48-year-old Keith Oakley guilty of all charges. The incident stems from reported sexual molestation of a 10-year-old girl in Osawatomie in 2019. Oakley denied the accusations and took the stand himself at the end of the trial to defend himself, but the victim, who is now 13, also took the stand to testify.
Oakley has been in jail ever since he was arrested on the criminal molestation charges july 7, 2020. According to court records, sentencing is scheduled for May 18th at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Miami County Courthouse
