One of the reasons Ransom Memorial Hospital decided to affilitate with AdventHealth was for one thing, to simply save the hospital. During a meeting of the RMH Board of Trustees, Chief Operations Officer, Doug Rich, reviewed some history:
Despite some problems along the way, the affiliation with AdventHealth has brought a lot of new investment and upgraded facilities. Under the lease agreement, all these will stay with the hospital should AdventHealth, for some reason, decide to pull out of the affiliation.
