Several Ottawa residents who are behind on their utility bills may breathe a little easier now that the City Commission has given the ok to go ahead and use about $4,800 in Federal Funds to pay their bills. During the Regular Commission Study Session, Assistant Finance Director, Rebecca McCurdy noted that helping the accounts in question is basically doing some housekeeping:
There are seven delinquent accounts affecting up to 30 people.
