Some people who live near wind turbines complain about the sound they make…….and they may have good reason for it. Former TV Meteorologist and now Kansas Senator Mike Thompson was in town at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium to talk about wind farms. He says the spinning turbines can be negative to hearing.
Thompson also says solar and wind installations are not very efficient at only 30 to 40%, compared to nuclear at about 80%.
